Living in constant fear and anxiety, whether its from recent or past traumas or concern about our unknown future can be exhausting, sometimes leading to a life of painful and uncontrollable reactivity, illness and poor quality of life. Join MTI certified mindfulness teacher and author, JoAnn Saccato, MA, in this four week class that offers:

  • Supportive trauma-sensitive mindfulness practices to help you feel safe and empowered on your path to resiliency
  • Proven techniques that help shift anxiety and reactivity and restore grounded present moment clarity
  • Deepening a loving inner relationship to help companion your path to healing and wholeness
  • Nature and somatic based exercises to help restore embodied connection to yourself and life

Session 2: Breath & kindness as respite

Session 3: Wise relationship with thoughts & emotions

Session 4: Supportive movement exercises

This course is appropriate for

  • beginning and experienced mindfulness practitioners
  • survivors of large scale disasters such as the recent fires in California, Covid-19 occurrences, etc.
  • those currently in or out of a professional therapeutic relationship
